Lady of Shadows

Rem is a very powerful woman, she is a strong feminine leader, a great inventor, scientist, surgeon, besides she knows about politics, botany, mechanics and architecture, being herself specialised in a wide area of knowledge. Her clear, distant gaze shows her thoughts, that trascend mortality, flesh and even Death, telling us about her ascetism.
She always despises the inmediate, mundane things, instead she looks forward, she wants to achieve a superior knowledge by going to the dephts of the universe. She, who can barely stand, apparently has so much strenght left on her tiny, skeletal body of hers, which shows her faith; her extraordinary volition sounds really quirky and macabre to anyone that meets her.
In the background, there is a crude, ruthless war taking place, in which men from different countries die while they fight for their own interests. Rem doesn´t care about all that insignificant battles that are going on while she is meditating inside her cave. Therefore, this scene behind her represents thirst for power, decadence and greedy in the human society that Rem has known for a long time. She is five hundred years old.
In conclusion, Rem is between the two worlds, the human and the vampire society, between light and darkness, so she is a really sage woman, that can bring her wisdom everywhere, a mystical creature possessed of an enraptured beauty like no other.
